This course is an intensive introduction to the design, configuration, and maintenance of local area networks (LANs). The concepts discussed will enable you to develop experience in cabling, routing, IP addressing, routing protocols, and network troubleshooting. Students will explore a variety of topics including the OSI and TCP models, Ethernet technologies, and how to design and build networks. This course will help prepare students for CCNA or the CompTIA’s Network+ certification exams.
